Artbox Studio Gallery is a creative space where art enthusiasts of all skill levels can explore their creativity. We offer a variety of workshops and events in a relaxed and welcoming environment. The age limits are mainly to ensure a calm environment for all of our participants and also to keep the original art on our walls safe. If your child is calm and can follow instructions, they are very welcome to join an Artbox workshop.
The only workshops with a strict age limit are resin art and candle making at 12 and up. Every other workshop welcomes mature kids from the ages of 5 and up. Please note, all kids under the age of 12 must be accompanied by at least one paying adult. If the adult does not want to participate, they are still required to supervise their child during the lesson for a fee of $27+tax for any workshop.
We understand that plans can change. While our workshops are non-refundable, if you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to arrange a new date.
Transferring Your Tickets
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to someone else up until the start time of the workshop. To do this, please provide the name, phone number, and email address of the person attending in your place. This information can be sent via email or phone as late as the scheduled workshop start time.
After the Workshop Date
Please note that we cannot transfer a credit or booking after the workshop date has passed.
Cancellation Policy:
All ticket sales for Artbox workshops and experiences are non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel, you may receive a full credit that can be used towards future events or in-store purchases, available for 3 months, as long as you provide at least 24 hours' notice before the event start time or 72 hours notice for orders of 4+ tickets, in order to receive a full credit for each ticket. Cancellations made less than the required hours notice before the event, including no-shows, will not be eligible for a refund or credit. Our main floor, where all standard (non-glow) workshops take place, is wheelchair accessible.Please note: Our Glow Studio and washroom are located on the lower level and are typically accessed by stairs. For guests requiring easier access, we also have a rear entrance to the lower level with only three small steps. If you would like to use this entrance, please let us know in advance of your scheduled workshop so we can ensure it is available.
