Billy Morrison VIP Event at Toronto's Liss Gallery

Natasha and I recently had the pleasure of attending a private event at Toronto’s Liss Gallery, hosted by Billy Morrison—guitarist for Billy Idol. The event brought together art and music in a way that felt both natural and exciting.

We started the evening with a wine reception, taking in the impressive display of Morrison’s artwork. His pieces are bold and striking, drawing from a wide range of inspirations, from pop culture to the natural world. His style is influenced by legends like Andy Warhol and Basquiat, yet it has a distinctive edge that sets it apart.

One of the highlights was an acoustic performance by Morrison. Being in an art gallery while he played created an intimate atmosphere that added a different dimension to the experience.

The collaboration between Morrison and Canadian painter Johnathan Ball was another standout. They’ve worked together on a series of limited-edition pieces, combining Morrison’s vibrant imagery with Ball’s urban realism. The result is a unique blend that offers something new to explore.

The exhibit runs through the end of the month at Liss Gallery, so if you’re in Toronto, it’s worth checking out.

Cheers,

Marlon & Natasha
